Just watched Shokura (lol wth am I doing when I'm supposed to be finishing off my holiday homework), and I have to say, I missed HSJ. Oh well, at least they're still very much active (just not active for us overseas fans to see) and seeing as Hikaru says that they would like to try eating together as 10 people more, and Yabu says that they hope to do more group stuffs this year (since last year was peppered with solo activities), I suppose they'll still be here for a while. (Well, duh, they've only been here for slightly more than 2 years.)

Romeo&Juliet, despite how absolutely corny the lyrics are, managed to bring a smile to my face (though most of the time I was wearing a horrified - by my own definition - expression, lol). It was good to see them dancing together (even though they "singled" out the three shortest people lol). And UMP at the end made me miss that song (I didn't think I would after that UMP spam, what, two years ago).

And it was amusing watching their own reaction to the Kouhaku performance (I found it hilarious - what with the glow-in-the-dark-esque stars and shiny in the glowy way costumes) - Yamada was serious and Chinen was smiling like lolol-so-that's-how-we-look-on-TV. XDD;;;

And, I have no idea, but I still absolutely love NYC.

Now to wait for Music Japan Anisong SP to start showing. There's Kalafina with the new So.Ra.No.Wo.To OP and May'n with pink monsoon and Nakajima Megumi with that Kobato jellyfish song and zomg they're singing Lion together! Zooooooomg... I mean, I should really get started on finishing the rest of my holiday homework.

So the year is about to draw to a close (and I haven't blogged proper for a month already, and my internet has been kind of shitty since Christmas Eve urgh), and I've no idea what I accomplished this year. I can't really remember what New Year Resolutions I made last year (can't be bothered to check since my internet is preventing me from doing anything), so I'm just going to, well, discard them and make new ones.

But before that, I guess I should do a round up of the year (not the decade, my memory's not that good and my life isn't that interesting anyway). Note that it won't be in chronological order because my thoughts don't come that way anyway.

Now 2009 is almost over (in about 6 hours as I'm writing this), 2010 will come, and of course, what does that signify? A new year, and new new year resolutions, yes.

Once again, I drifted away from my Commonwealth essay. I got my basic outline out already, so it's not that bad, but my word count is miserable. And I think I'm going to do really badly for this, because zomg I don't have any good ideas. >_____<;;

And now I'm waiting for my sister to come back so we can watch VS Arashi. >____>;;

And while waiting, I'm probably going to slack off by making covers for my 2009 subject notebooks. Oh dear, I'm such a procrastinator. D:

Throughout the morning (or well, the 45 minutes since I've been awake), Aiba's "何が出るかなぁ〜" keep ringing in my head. >______>;;; And I'm not even an Aiba fan! Okay sure, I find him really endearing.

And whenever I see Utada's new song title "Come Back To Me", the phrase "RIGHT BACK TO ME" (from the Arashi song) rings in my head. LOL.

Yes, I went back to Utada upon 15 seconds of the song. I'm probably going to replay this web rip of the song until, I don't know, until a better rip exist and then I'll replay THAT rip of the song 'til death do us part.

Of what I heard so far, the lyrics aren't spectacular, the tune actually sounds kinda generic after a while, but it's just that type of song that I love so much, and somehow I especially love her voice in this. And it does exceed the expectations I had for Utada. And it's exactly the type of song I like. Oops have I mentioned that before?

I sure hope that this album sells better than Exodus (because it's much more accessible than Exodus already).

I regret not starting on the Commonwealth essay earlier.

I wonder if I should skip reading the book altogether and just plunge in with the summaries I've read from Wiki and this site, and maybe go pick up some quotes from the book from selected chapters I've, well, selected after reading the chapter summaries.

I hate the Commonwealth essay. D:

But ahh I couldn't resist.

First things first. I'm adding three more digits and a dash to my numbering system, so at the end of the year, I'll be able to know how many posts I posted this year easily, and not be reduced to checking the last post of the previous year and calculate. So yep, first three digits = number of posts made in the current year, and last four digits = total number of posts made since I started numbering.

Two. I was listening to the things I ripped. And well, I really like "fake wings" lyrics. I've heard this song when I was in Primary School (that's at least 4 years from now, and I'm pretty sure I heard it in P5, so that's 5 years back), and was fascinated by the lyrics. And now when I hear it again, I'm still fascinated by the lyrics. Kajiura Yuki, you're good.
